Computer Hardware Components:
CPU - Brain of the computer, performs all the calculations and processes
Motherboard - Connects all hardware components, allowing them to communicate with each other
RAM - Stores data temporarily and helps multitasking
Hard drive - Stores data, 2 different types including HDD and SSD with SSD being more expensive due to it's fast speed
GPU - Processes all the graphics, helps with editing videos and graphic design
PSU - Provides power to other components
Input, Output device - Helps interact with the computer and present data
Types of Connections:
USB - Used mostly for connecting input devices, can be a security risk if used for malicious purposes.
Wireless connections - Non physical connections, allows devices to connect to the internet, this can also be a security risk so to reduce it you need encryption, and update your router often.
Wired connections - Ethernet is most commonly used, secure, less vulnerable to risks
Bluetooth - Short range, used for connecting certain devices together for usability, this is also vulnerable to risks, to ensure safety you need to update devices, use the latest Bluetooth and disable it when not using
Network connections - VPN creates private network over a public network, encryptings data when devices transfer data
